My biggest regret ever is not waiting to have sex.  I promised myself that I wouldn’t let myself have sex until I was at least 14 or 15.  I didn’t wait though and had sex with the 16 year old boy that lives next door.  I really hope my parents or friends don’t find out.

I should be more surprised by this, but sadly, I’m not.

I certainly have no qualms with girls (or guys) who enjoy sex. I enjoy sex. I don’t care if you have one partner or one hundred or if your sex life is pretty vanilla or hardcore S&M as long as you’re happy and safe.

But having sex as young as kids are now? At twelve? Most girls aren’t even anywhere near being fully developed at twelve. They are not women. They are little girls and yet in this generation it now seems to be the norm for kids that young to be bumping uglies. I mean, I’m pretty sure I was probably part of a minority finishing my GCSEs (at 15 or 16) with my virginity still in tact, and I’m eight years older than this kid. And when I was fifteen, I still thought it was freaking weird that everybody was going at it like bunnies.

Why the hell do kids even want to have sex this young? When I was twelve I still thought boys were stupid and only good for play-fighting and doing tomboy things with. When I was twelve I didn’t even have a fucking sex drive because I was twelve.

And for a sixteen year old boy to be doing it with someone who is basically a little girl? Taking advantage of a little girl? He should be fucking ashamed of himself, ‘cause it is taking advantage. Kids that young should not have sex drives. They should not be coerced into having sex by anyone, the same age or older. They should not have to think ‘I want to wait a few years to have sex’.

I don’t understand how they can even be thinking about sex.
